The PlayStation Play at Home bundle has been announced! PS4 players can now grab four great games for the irresistible price of zero dollars. What's more, the company behind the PS4 has announced an effort to help out indie developers.

As many of us are stuck at home right now, a lot of game companies are stepping up to keep its dedicated fans entertained or assist those in need in the gaming industry. Sony has dropped a heck of a one-two punch: they'll be doing both of these things.

The PlayStation Play At Home Bundle Games

Here are the games you can get in this bundle:

  • Journey
  • Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, which includes:
    • Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
    • Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
    • Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

These two items (totaling 4 games) are available starting tomorrow, April 15, 2020. They will be available until May 5, 2020. Furthermore, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is available for just $19.99 on the PlayStation Store and it also happens to be one of the current games for PlayStation Plus members. Signing up for PlayStation Plus right now will also net you a copy of DiRT 2.0.

Unfortunately, these games won't be available everywhere. The fine print notes that players in Germany and China will also receive Journey for free, but they'll be getting Knack 2 instead of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.

It should be noted that PlayStation download speeds are still being affected in Europe and the United States, so it may take you a little while to actually get these. It's best not to sleep on the PlayStation Play at Home bundle so you can get them as quickly as possible!

PlayStation Also Announces Indie Relief

Also announced today is a massive relief effort for indie developers.

"Independent developers are vital to the heart and soul of the gaming community and we understand the hardships and financial struggles that many smaller gaming studios are facing," stated the PlayStation Blog post from Sony's President and CEO Jim Ryan. "With that, SIE has developed a fund to support them during this time. We have earmarked $10 million to support our independent development partners. More information about the fund, including participation criteria, will be made available soon."

In any case, you'll be able to grab some great games gratis starting tomorrow. Keep your eyes open and get them while you can!
