The first major game from developer Relentless Studios and publisher Amazon Game Studios, Crucible was a free-to-play massively multiplayer first-person shooter designed to be the first title to show what Amazon can do as a game publisher.
A hero shooter in the vein of Overwatch, players take on the roles of various hunters, characters with special abilities who must then duke it out in teams. Players must coordinate with each other to win the game's standard objectives, earning points and prestige for their team.
Launched in May of 2020, Crucible, despite being the first major title launched from Amazon Game Studios, was swiftly canceled by October 2020. Relentless Studios offered players full refunds for Crucible, and custom game servers were shut down on November 9th, 2020. Crucible was available for PC at the time.
