Nidhogg 2 is a 1 v 1 local multiplayer game first and foremost. The premise is simple: kill your opponent to continue progressing to one side of the map until you reach the end. This sequel also adds many new elements that its predecessor lacked, including three new weapons, character customization, and a plethora of new maps. There is also a single player option in this game where you can speedrun through all ten levels against CPU opponents. Lastly, you can play this game online against random opponents, and this works identically to local multiplayer.
