Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 2 is a sidescrolling 2D action platformer developed and published by Inti Creates. Starring Copen, his companion Lola, and friend Kohaku are transported to an alternate, post-apocalyptic dimension. Humans are nowhere to be found, and all they can do is explore a mysterious tower. Within it, they search for answers behind why they were brought to this world, all while fighting enemy androids who get in there way.
The gameplay is reminiscent of the Mega Man X series. Players can run, dash, jump, and wall kick their way around the stage. Copen can also lock onto enemies he dashes into, making his projectiles home in on them. With 12 unique stages and lots of engaging boss fights, Luminous Avenger iX 2 aims to provide an engaging action platformer experience.
