Call of Duty Vanguard is the latest in the Call of Duty Series, with the 18th installment focusing on the birth of the special forces at the end of World War II. Players will return to World War II in a full campaign, as well as the series' staple Multiplayer modes, and Zombies.
Vanguard will launch with 20 maps, and all of the series' standard modes, including a new mode called "Champion Hill" - the next iteration of Gunfight. In addition, the first time, a new feature is introduced to Vanguard's multiplayer matchmaking, called "Combat Pacing", which allows the player to have more control over the intensity and density of core multiplayer game modes. Much like previous installments as well, the game is fully crossplay compatible between the 8th and 9th generation of consoles.
