During the Ubisoft E3 2019 conference this Monday, the publisher announced a crossover between the Adventure Time cartoon and the fighting game Brawlhalla, developed by Blue Mammoth Games. In the announcement trailer, Finn and Jake are transported to the inside of a Game Boy-like device and start fighting the typical enemies and monsters from Brawlhalla. The Adventure Time crossover is available right now on Brawlhalla for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

The free-to-play brawler game was first an indie darling before being acquired by Ubisoft in March last year. This crossover with Adventure Time brings a completely unique visual design that includes a new style for their signature powers, new custom select animations, new sound design, and more. There will also be a special Adventure Time in-game event that kicks off today through June 25. This event will include some cool content, such as Finn’s weapons skins for ax and sword, whereas Jake gets a hammer and gauntlets. Princess Bubblegum also gets exclusive weapons, blasters, and a rocket lance.

The Adventure Time characters’ powers mirror the powers and abilities of Brawlhalla Legend such as Jhala, Kor, and Lord Vraxx, so the game will remain familiar to players while adding some other dimensions and characteristics to keep it fresh. Even after the event, the Adventure Time Epic Crossovers will continue to be offered in-store, and each pack can be purchased for 300 Mammoth coins. The crossover also includes a new game mode themed after Adventure Time, Buddy Mode, where players can control two legends simultaneously to defeat another player. This game mode will also remain as a custom game mode even after the event ends.

There are other features included, and the crossover will continue to be supported in the long-term rather than a one-off event. If you would like more information about Brawlhalla and the Adventure Time crossover, visit the official website, or follow the game on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
