For the vast majority of people, an average clown is a scary thing. Therefore, I can understand why a lot of folks are turned off by Dropsy. The game’s protagonist is creepy compared to other clowns. However, his offputting appearance is a vital component to the story that Dropsy tells. Despite being creepy, this clown that loves to give out damp hugs is filled with innocence and compassion for those around him. His adventure was one of the highlights of 2015 for me, and our readers now have a chance to experience it for themselves on Steam.

For more information about Dropsy, you can check out our past coverage of the game, including Kyle Lawrence’s preview of the title and Perry Ruhland’s interview with developer Jay Tholen. For those who want to check the game out on mobile, you’ll be pleased to hear that the Android version of the game is coming soon, and you can purchase it now as part of the latest Humble Mobile Bundle!
