Today, indie publisher Digerati announced with developer Laser Guided Games that they have released Golem Gates on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and the Nintendo Switch. Upon the release game creator, Matt Oelfke had the following to say:

“We are so pleased that Golem Gates is now available on consoles. We’ve poured everything into Golem Gates so we can’t wait to see how consoles gamers take to this version of the game,”
The title is described as a "post-apocalyptic sci-fi blend of action-strategy and card battler", where players and their armies face off against enemy forces. When an ancient foe emerges, only the player (as the Harbinger) is guarding them. With the nanite-infused power of The Ash, the player must protect the world that has been ravaged by war. The player can choose from 100 different cards known as Glyphs in order to release units, buildings, and buffs across single-player, co-op, and online multiplayer modes.
“With a great title like Golem Gates we wanted to create the best possible version for consoles, now you can enjoy Laser Guided Games’ vision in 1080p, full 4K or on go as Golem Gates has been fully optimised for every console and it’s individual capabilities.” - Nick Alfreri, Digerati Director
Players will have to deal with randomized drawing and quick unit placement, meaning that they will have to adapt on the fly in order to succeed. Players can add more forces to turn the tide of battle, turn a scouting party into an army, place emergency defenses to ward off an enemy assault, or build an outpost in a area that that the enemy does not expect. While the player has lots of choices, the enemy does as well, making Golem Gates a fast-paced title with little room for error.
