The folks over at Fanatical (formerly known as Bundle Stars) are holding a huge May sale.
The “May Madness” sale slashes the price tag on over 500 games, with discounts on everything from AAA titles to lesser-known indie gems. Price drops range from 12% to 90% depending on the game. Interested players can also get an extra 10% off almost any sale item by using the MAY10 voucher code. Some items don’t count as part of this deal, though: you can’t use MAY10 on bundles, pre-orders or time-limited Star Deals (presently Tropico 5 Complete Edition for 89% off), as well as certain games (see below). Let’s have a look at some of the titles on offer as part of the May Madness sale.
Kicking things off is Kickstarted turn-based mech title BattleTech. Developed by original BattleTech co-creator Jordan Weisman and Harebrained Schemes, previously responsible for Shadowrun Returns, we rather liked this modern iteration of kickin’ chassis and takin’ serial numbers. BattleTech can be yours for 15% off its standard retail price.
Also recently released is the frosty city builder/society simulator survival game Frostpunk. From the folks who made This War of Mine, this is an inventive city builder that wasn’t afraid to attempt different things. Our review of it was quite favorable and it is available for 15% off its normal price.
Next up, it’s rat-catcher sequel Warhammer: Vermintide 2. Set during the onset of the End Times, this first-person horde-’em-up sees players taking on Clan Fester and new allies the Rotbloods. Players can choose from five unique characters and fifteen career types to find the most efficient way to dispatch mobs of screaming ratmen. This one’s up for 25% off its standard price.
If you’re looking for something a little more high-octane, check out Redout: Enhanced Edition. Redout is a super-fast racer paying homage to the likes of WipeOut, Rollcage, and F-Zero, so if those games were regularly in your disc tray back in the day, you might want to give this one a go. Redout can be yours for 60% off its standard retail price.
Discounts will be regularly added between now and May 20th, when the sale ends, so keep an eye on Fanatical to make sure you’re not missing out on something you want. There’s plenty of stuff we haven’t even mentioned here, so there’s bound to be something to your taste.

Some quick admin: there’s a $2 minimum spend in order to qualify for the MAY10 voucher, and it doesn’t apply to certain games as well as the above exemptions (some examples include Far Cry 5, Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom and Pillars of Eternity II).
