Wanted: Dead

Today 110 Industries revealed a new trailer of its upcoming slasher/shooter Wanted: Dead.

This time around, the video is all about the world of the game and the characters that populate it, including the heroine Hannah Stone and her squadmates, members of the Zombie Unit, Cortez, Doc, and Herzog. We also meet Captain Simmons and Vivienne, the gunsmith, former Olympic gold medalist and celebrity chef. She's also the one introducing everyone else and she's played by Stefanie Joosten, whom you may know for having played Quiet in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

We hear about the city of Hong Kong, which after the Great War is now basically run by a corporation named Dauer Synthetics. The police force itself is basically a private military company. Also... apparently Maserati makes police cars? These are mysteries of a cyberpunk future.

Jokes aside, the setting and cast definitely sound interesting. We'll have to see if the game will live up to its promises, but so far, so good.

You can watch the trailer below. If you want to see more, you can check out the previous trailers about combat, finishers, and bosses

Wanted: Dead releases on February 14 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.

The game is developed by Soleil, a Japanese studio that promises an "ultimate hardcore experience" that is "old school as it gets," which isn't surprising since the team includes many developers who previously worked on the Ninja Gaiden series. The studio has recently worked on Valkyrie ElysiumTravis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, and Devil's Third.

That being said, there is also a "neko-chan mode" that will help if you die too much. That certainly sounds as hardcore as it gets.
