The latest Marvel Snap update brings a feature that is worth highlighting, alongside a few bug fixes and tweaks to the balance of certain decks and cards.

With the latest update, we see an interesting new feature that we believe is a much-needed one for most games in existence. Players can now see who created the illustrations that are painted upon their favorite cards by selecting the Variant Label above their cards. Here, you will find the name of the artist that created the art for that particular card. Artists in general seem to not always get the credit they deserve for the time and effort put into their creations, so this Artist Credit feature is one that should be implemented more often.

More tweaks that have been made include general updates, such as the collection view now automatically filtering to your favorite variants while editing your existing decks. There has also been a "Pro Bundle" added to the game for new players who want to kickstart their journey. By paying 12,500 credits, new players will be able to purchase a one-time use bundle that gives enough boosters to upgrade eight cards from Common to Infinity.

New card and location sounds have also been added to the game, as well as visual effects. On top of the small additions, there are a few large changes that have been made to the overall balance of a few cards and decks. The Guardian's effects seemed a bit hit or miss to the developers, so they decided to give Drax and Groot a bit of a buff to even out the odds. Black Cat on the other hand appears to be very lackluster to the players, as she is rarely seen across people's decks, so she has also been given one extra Power to make running her in your deck more enticing.

To see the full list of patch notes, head over to the Marvel Snap webpage. The game is currently available for play on PC via Steam, IOS, and Android.

Marvel Snap is a fast-paced card collection and battler game, where players will put together a team of the most powerful characters from the Marvel universe to use in battle. Every game lasts around three minutes, keeping things quick but exciting nonetheless. There are over 50 different locations for battles to take place within the game, including iconic places from Marvel movies like Wakanda. New cards, locations, cosmetic items, and challenges are added constantly, so there will never be a lack of content to tackle.
