EA has revealed more of what you can expect from F1 24 when it arrives in May, including details of the revamped Career Mode, info about the new Dynamic Handling system, and more.

F1 24 was originally revealed back in February, but details at the time were scarce, and EA's latest deep dive reveals how much has changed since F1 23.

First up, the new Dynamic Handling system, which has been designed in conjunction with cover star Max Verstappen, "redefines the feel of the car" you're driving. You can look forward to advanced simulation mechanics, new engine and car setup options, and "all-new suspension kinematics", plus lots of other improvements.

F1 24 will feature deeper simulation mechanics and systems.

The game's Career Mode has been revamped; it now allows you to play as F1 drivers featuring in the 2024 grid, as well as F2 up-and-comers and legends known as Icons.

In the latter category, you'll find racers like James Hunt and Juan Pablo Montoya, although those two are exclusive to the F1 24 Champions Edition, so you'll have to pay a little extra if you want to play as them.

Elsewhere, the Career Mode will feature a new reputation system that sees you completing on-track objectives for extra prestige, as well as control over how your team handles R&D. You can even take on the career alongside another player now!

The F1 World feature will also make a return from F1 23, once again inviting you to pick a team and driver and then compete to complete "collaborative goals" with other players on your team.

Of course, the same could be said of every year's F1 installment, but this year's looks like it'll bring exactly the kind of realism and immersion that F1 fans are after.

F1 23 launches across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox on May 31st. You can pre-order it right now, and if you're an F1 202122, or 23 player, then you'll get a loyalty discount on your pre-order, although you will have to own one of these games to qualify.
