EA and Codemasters have released a brand new F1 23 deep dive trailer showcasing what you can expect from the returning Braking Point story mode. We also got some new information about the brand new F1 World content hub, which EA says will "reinvent how you enjoy F1".

F1 23 was originally announced a few weeks ago, and although we got a sneak peek at some of the new mechanics and modes, this deep dive is going even more in-depth. The new trailer is once again hosted by Natalie Pinkham, and begins with a look at the return of Braking Point. Spanning the 2022 and 23 F1 seasons, Braking Point 2 will focus on the fictional Konnersport team, whose star drivers are old rivals. However, there's a new driver on the scene, and she's threatening to dethrone them.

According to EA, Braking Point 2 will utilize machine learning to render character faces and actions more realistically than ever before. As you work your way through this story, you'll earn rewards and trigger bonus objectives, which will affect how storylines play out across Braking Point 2.

Next up, we get a look at F1 World, a "new hub for a variety of daily, weekly, and ever-changing seasonal content". This is where you'll find online play and race challenges, giving you the chance to earn upgrades and compete in more challenging races. There's a solo series available if you don't feel like taking on other human players, and there are also a range of both solo and multiplayer events available in this new content hub. These include Grand Prix challenges, quick races, arcade-style events, and more.

The new F1 23 deep dive trailer also shows off changes to the way upgrades work, as well as alterations to ranked play, rewards, and more. Make sure to take a look at the full trailer for F1 23 if you want an in-depth look at the changes EA and Codemasters have made to the beloved racing sim series.

F1 23 launches for PC, PlayStation consoles, and Xbox platforms on June 16th. You can pre-order the game now for a raft of exclusive content and three days' worth of early access play.
