Modiphius Entertainment, publishers of tabletop RPGs such as Conan and Star Trek Adventures, has announced Fallout: Wasteland Warfare according to a press release.
Games of Fallout: Wasteland Warfare will include anywhere from 3-30 individual characters representing the many factions of the Fallout universe. These characters will be represented by 32mm scale resin miniatures. Adventures will take place in iconic locations from Fallout 4, such as Red Rocket and Sanctuary Hills. Miniature props such as Nuka-Cola machines and turrets will also be available to complement the gameplay.
An entire story-based campaign is being created for players who are in it for the long haul, but that's not the only offering on the table: shorter random missions will also be available. Victory in these scenarios will earn Crew Caps, which can be used to upgrade the skills and gear of the player characters for future encounters. Rules for tournaments and PvP Scenarios will be available for the more involved fans. Tabletop gamers who are more inclined towards PvE play will have an outlet as well; A.I. decks will exist to simulate the tactics and strategies of the various factions in the game. These decks can be taken on by solo players or in a co-operative environment.
Modiphius has taken to Kickstarter in the past for Conan, Infinity, and other projects. There's not yet any word if they'll be doing the same for this game or if they'll be funding it in some other fashion. Fallout: Wasteland Warfare is expected to launch in November 2017.
