It's sometimes nice to see a piece of your childhood bought back in modern times. It's common enough these days with virtual consoles and numerous remasters or re-releases. Then again, it's sometimes painful when you remember how difficult games used to be back in the day.
GRID Review
The tenth game in Codemasters' long-running TOCA race franchise, GRID is meant to be a soft reboot of the entire GRID sub-series. Most of the overall design fits with that paradigm, with Codemasters pushing a ‘back to basics’ formula with pretty much every single mechanic imaginable.
Telling Lies Review
New releases are constantly pushing the line between video games and movies. If it isn't David Cage stretching the boundaries of what counts as a game, the indie scene squeezes out walking simulators with almost no gameplay involved. FMV games were possibly the first that tried to blur that particular line.
