Games With Gold

With another month we get another batch of Xbox Live's Games With Gold, giving you some games for having a subscription to Xbox Live Gold. Like most months there are four games available, with two for the Xbox One and two backwards compatible Xbox 360 games (or, in this case, one backwards compatible Xbox 360 game and one original Xbox game.)

The first Xbox One game drops on November 1st, and it's Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter. Here you'll be playing as Sherlock Holmes as he does what he does best: solving mysteries. Along the way, he investigates, solves puzzles, talks to people, and engages in some casual punching. The game will be available until November 30th.

The second Xbox One game shows up on November 16th, and is The Final Station. The game is a 2D shooter where you need to collect supplies for your train so you can survive the zombie hoards. Additionally, you also need to gather passengers and battle zombies. You can grab it until December 15th.

The first Xbox 360 game is actually an original Xbox game and will be available from November 1st until the 16th. Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter puts you in the role of a Jedi that flys a starfighter. Instead of using the force to engage in lightsaber fights, you'll use it to shoot down droids.

The second Xbox 360 game is Joy Ride Turbo, which you can get from the 16th until December 1st. This is an arcade-style racer where you'll be going super fast on weird tracks. Or you can hit up the stunt park and just sort of go driving wherever.

The first games in this batch will become available on November 1st, with the other two on November 16th. You still have until November 1st to grab Tembo: The Badass Elephant and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, and up until November 16th to get Friday the 13th: The Game.

How do you feel about this batch of free games? Going to keep picking up Xbox Live Games With Gold? Were you hoping for something different instead? Let us know in the comments below!
