The Publisher and developer of Warframe, Digital Extremes, has announced an 8-Year Anniversary Event for their title, which should mean "four weeks of fun-filled challenges, contests, rewards, livestreams and even merchandise." The celebration will last from Monday, April 19 through Monday, May 17, and will be available on all platforms. You can get started right now by redeeming the Dex Rhino Skin, which you'll get by just logging in.

During the rest of the month there'll be chances for players to earn Dex-style gear, fashion frame accessories, and items from the past 7 years. For the week of April 19 there are two Alerts and a Weekend Credits Booster, along with three items: the Dex Sybaris, Weapon Slot, and Excalibur Dex Skin. For the week of April 26 there are 2 Alerts and the Weekend Affinity Booster and the Dex Dakra, Weapon Slot, and Dex Nouchali Syandana as the three items available.

For the week of May 3 there are 2 Alerts and a Weekend Credits Booster, and the Dex Furis, Weapon Slot, and Dex Liset Skin. Last but not least there are 3 Alerts and a Weekend Affinity Booster for the week of May 10, along with the Excalibur Dex in Action Glyph, Excalibur Dex Noggle, and Dex Raksaka Armor for items that will be made available to players.

There will also a solo-only quest available right now, Call of Tempestarii, which is playable across all platforms. Those who come back for the live event will be able to play through a new Quest, the Railjack system revamp and a new Warframe, Sevagoth.

If you're feeling creative there's a contest going on where you can either edit your screenshots or submit unedited screenshots of you and your team in a boss fight. If that sounds swell then you should check out the Warframe forums here where you'll have to enter.

If you would like to check out the full announcement, be sure to check it out on Steam. For more information on Warframe, stay tuned to TechRaptor for more details.
