Today the Japanese CESA (Computer Entertainment Suppliers Association) which organizes Tokyo Game Show every year, announced the final details about this year's event.
Via a press release sent to TechRaptor, the organizer revealed that the show will enjoy the presence of 770 registered exhibitors, which is a record for TGS.
These are split between 371 exhibitors from Japan (7 of which are participating online-only) and 399 from the rest of the world (of which 25 online).
All these exhibitors will show their goods at a whopping 2,684 booths. 1,762 have also been registered to be showcased.
We then get the timetable of the official program livestream, which will see the participation of various well-known developers including Microsoft, 505 Games, Sega/Atlus, Level-5, Koei Tecmo, Capcom, HoYoverse, Square Enix, and more.
You can check it out below.
We also hear that a "Last-minute Special Preview program" will be streamed on September 13 at 7:00 p.m. Japan Time, one week before TGS. It will provide further info on exhibitors, venue maps, official programs, and TGSVR2023.
This year, TechRaptor will be treading the show floor at Tokyo Game Show, so you should definitely stay tuned on our site as we bring you all the news, interviews, and previews we'll be able to get our hands on.
The show will start on September 21 and end on September 24, with the first two days traditionally reserved for media and business visitors. Incidentally, this is the first time the show returns to its pre-pandemic size, which is certainly exciting.
