Summer Games Done Quick 2020 has joined the growing list of gaming events that are being postponed due to the coronavirus. However, we'll be getting an extra event called "Corona Relief Done Quick" in a few weeks to help combat this global pandemic.

The delay for this annual speedrunning event is forcing some unprecedented changes to its submission system. If you've submitted a game or volunteered for the event, you're going to have it to do it all over again since the dates have changed. Attendee registration has also had its window shifted due to the event's new dates.

Aside from the postponement, GDQ will be running Corona Relief Done Quick, a one-off event taking place next month. 100% of the donations made during this event will go to Direct Relief, a humanitarian organization that helps people who are affected by poverty or emergencies.
