More than two weeks after release, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has revealed the specifics of the expansion pass for Middle-earth: Shadow of War. The announcement comes with a two-minute trailer showing bits and pieces of the four major additions guaranteed to owners of the $40 pass.

By the end of 2017, two new orc tribes will arrive in Mordor, and they will be fully integrated into the game’s shining mechanic, the Nemesis System. In November, the Slaughter Tribe will come to town, bringing with them a series of new missions, rare orcs, and a fortress. According to a press release, the Slaughter Tribe orcs are known for their bloodthirst, as the namesake would suggest, and their sudden ambushes create a “deadly new challenge for players.” Come December, the Outlaw Tribe of orcs will take up arms in Mordor, and they too will bring missions, rare orcs, and a fortress.

Shadow of War owners will still have a lot to look forward to in the first half of 2018. In February, Talion will be benched and replaced with Eltariel, an assassin who uses two Elven blades and the Light of Galadriel to dispose of enemies. This DLC, called the Blade of Galadriel, will give players a new story in the shoes of a character with combat skills that differ from Talion. By the end of the story, players can gain eight Legendary Orcs to join Talion’s horde in the main game.

Finally, in May, Shadow of War will add a rogue-like campaign called Desolation of Mordor that puts players in the shoes of Baranor, an average human with no Ring and no elf ghost to give him the ungodly combat powers that Talion has. This expansion brings players to a desert region called Lithlad, where Baranor, the Captain of Minas Ithil, leads his people against the orc threat. Not much detail is given as to how this campaign will be rogue-like, but more details will likely surface as we approach the projected release date. Both of the latter story-based DLCs will also give players skins to change Talion’s appearance to look like Eltariel and Baranor.

Amid all the expansion pass details, various statistics about Monolith Productions’ orc-slaying romp through Mordor were announced via a Twitter post. More than 1.5 million active players worldwide are stepping into Talion’s shoes to build their own orc armies. Since release, 3.3 billion orcs have been killed,  and within the first week, 193 million have been dominated.
