A bunch of absolute madlads has released the Road Redemption: Revengers Assemble DLC, jamming a bunch of the Internet's most famous memes into one crazy package.
If you haven't played Road Redemption, you're missing out on a boatload of fun. This game is more or less the spiritual successor to Road Rash, a bunch of games from the 16-bit era that let you race motorcycles. Oh, and you could whack people in the face with pipes and chains because bikers are hardcore like that.
Road Redemption has been out for a while now, and they've just released yet another piece of premium content called the Road Redemption: Revengers Assemble DLC. This package adds three new riders and a new DLC mode as noted in the Steam Community announcement for this DLC. Here's a breakdown of the new riders:
- New Rider: Admiral Uganda
- Wields a mighty vibronium shield
- Can deflect enemy's attacks and reflect their energy back at them
- Can also throw the shield
- New Rider: Theranos
- Has the mighty Chaos Gauntlet
- Snapping your fingers has a 50% chance of turning every enemy to dust
- ...and a 25% chance of turning you to dust
- New Rider: PC Master Race Rider
- Loses 0.5 HP/second for every second your framerate goes below 60 FPS
- Higher graphics settings increase your damage
- Higher screen resolution = more nitro
In addition to these new riders, an all-new "Endless Mode" makes it debut in this DLC. Players can go through these endless challenges using different bikes or riders in a neverending set of the game's existing levels, competing for the top spot on leaderboards.
