The Park

Are you a fan of The Secret World and looking for a chance to step into that world while on the go? Or just need another solid horror game fix? Well good news, The Park will be coming to the Nintendo Switch on October 22nd.

Taking place in the Atlantic Island Park, a location that fans of The Secret World would likely know, you play as a woman named Lorrain who has lost her son Callum. While she searches for him through the park, things begin to take a dark turn. Literally in the case of day turning to night, but also a mysterious creature begins to haunt Lorrain and accuse her of not wanting Callum. You'll learn about the mother's history with her child, and face her inner demons along the way.

Besides giving more plot details to one of the most interesting sections of The Secret World, The Park is a decent horror game that stands on its own perfectly fine. This will be the first time it will come to a Nintendo console. In addition to the new console, Funcom has also announced it will be translating The Park to a host of new languages. While the game is currently only in English, you'll soon be able to play it in French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, and Brazilian Portuguese. This way, no matter what you speak, you can have a good time getting scared silly.

The Park will be available for the Nintendo Switch on October 22nd for a price of $9.99. It's also currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Are you excited to play The Park in a park? Gotten a chance to play the game already? Do you think I just wrote this and Moons of Madness back-to-back as an excuse to gush about The Secret World some more? (The answer to that last one is yes.) Let us know in the comments below!
