Frogware has announced that of the ten games that they were worried would be delisted from various storefronts after their publishing deal with Focus ended, only one was able to be saved.

The one game that got saved was the PC version of Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments. Unfortunately, Frogware has announced that the following games have been delisted:

  • The PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 versions of Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments
  • The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of The Testament of Sherlock Holmes
  • The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Magrunner: Dark Pulse
  • The Xbox 360 version of Sherlock Holmes vs. Jack the Ripper

Frogware notes that the PC versions of The Testament of Sherlock Holmes, Sherlock Holmes vs. Jack the Ripper, and Magrunner: Dark Pulse were not affected because they self-published those games. They also said they are currently working to relist all the delisted games, but that it's a process that may take a few months. Frogware CEO Wael Amr had the following to say about it:

The outcome is pretty bleak, and we are now fighting an uphill battle, trying to resubmit our games back on their stores where possible. As we previously said, the process is going to take several months, but there's hope and we will continue to push on.

We are forever grateful for the sheer amount of public and industry-wide support we got, and we truly appreciate everyone who added their voice to the issue. To show our gratitude we put together a digital booklet for Sherlock Holmes games and have released it for free to everyone. A big thank you to all the community that did actually reach out to us to try help once we brought this to light.

Some versions won't be possible to relist, as Frogware told us previously that it is not possible to re-publish the games on Xbox 360 as they have been told they cannot be reworked. Hopefully, the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One releases are able to be re-released.

There is a bit of good news in all this. As a thank you to their fans, Frogware has put together a little digital art book that highlights their various Sherlock Holmes games. The artbook is free DLC for Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishment on Steam, can be redeemed on GOG by entering the code "SWEETTHANKS" into the code redemption, or downloaded directly from Frogware here.

Lastly, GOG has announced that they've added four new Frogwares games to their library and that until October 11, if you buy Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishment there, you get Sherlock Holmes and The Hound of The Baskervilles for free.
