Xbox Game Pass October 2

Microsoft has announced the next batch of games that will be available using Xbox Game Pass, and it's a pretty large chunk that will be slowly arriving over the next two weeks.

On October 23rd the first two games show up. The first is Lonely Mountain: Downhill, which sees you racing bikes downhill as quickly as possible while attempting to avoid obstacles. The game is marked as an Xbox Play Anywhere title, so it seems likely PC players will be getting it as well. The second title is Secret Neighbor, a multiplayer spin-off of Hello, Neighbor where different players play as children, but one of the children is secretly the neighbor trying to kill the others.

The next game arrives on October 24th with Minit, a top-down adventure game where you have a cursed sword that kills you every minute but can unlock new ways to advance to make more time every run and try to get to the end.

On October 25th players get The Outer Worlds, the brand new open-world first-person shooter by Obsidian that we just gave an extremely good review, in case you want to know more about the game. PC users will also get The Outer Worlds at this time as well.

October 29th sees Afterparty released, another game coming straight to Xbox Game Pass on launch. This is an adventure game where you're trapped in Hell, but can escape if you use a loophole where you outdrink Satan.

On Halloween you can enjoy something spooky(?) with Lego Star Wars III, letting you relieve sections of the popular Clone War animated series.

Finally, on November 7th you can grab Subnautica. This underwater survival game lets players build a base and attempt to not get eaten by various creatures.

In addition to the new games, Microsoft notes a few current games getting updates. This includes costume packs for State of Decay 2, a Halloween event for Rocket League, and new levels for Human: Fall Flat. There's also a new quest happening called Fearless Femmes, letting you earn 100 reward points if you get one achievement in a select list of 20 games that includes Mass Effect, Resident Evil 4, We Happy Few, any game in the Tomb Raider reboot trilogy, or more.

How do you feel about this update? Excited for any of these games? Loving your game pass? Let us know in the comments below!
