Nintendo has announced that a new Nintendo Direct Mini presentation is to air tomorrow. The presentation will show off around 25 minutes of content from upcoming third-party Switch games and will air at 9am Eastern time (that's 6am Pacific).
What could we see in the new Nintendo Direct Mini?
Nintendo Direct Mini presentations usually contain a mixture of new announcements and footage for already-revealed games. In the past, we've gotten release dates for major JRPGs and cult hit reveals (in a manner of speaking), so we can probably expect some release date announcements and new game reveals tomorrow, too. There's reason to believe that we could get a big gameplay reveal for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, too, if Universo Nintendo editor and leaker "Necro" Felipe is to be believed. It's likely we'll also get some Switch gameplay footage for upcoming titles like Cult of the Lamb, Marvel's Midnight Suns, and more.
What won't we be seeing during tomorrow's Nintendo Direct Mini?
It's important to set some expectations right out of the gate here. Although this is a Nintendo Direct event, it specifically isn't showcasing first-party or second-party titles. That means you shouldn't expect to see anything regarding the Breath of the Wild sequel (which is currently slated to arrive in spring 2023) or Metroid Prime 4, which has been depressingly silent since development was rebooted in 2019. Technically, Bayonetta is published by Nintendo, so we also probably shouldn't expect to see anything about Bayonetta 3. Realistically, even though Hollow Knight: Silksong would be a third-party title, we also likely won't be hearing anything about that game, so its release date will remain a mystery.
Of course, it's difficult to accurately predict everything that will be present during a Nintendo Direct Mini, so we'll have to wait and see what Nintendo and its third-party partners have up their sleeves. Stay tuned to TechRaptor for all the latest info about tomorrow's Nintendo Direct Mini.
