Ulduar Raid WoW classic, World of Warcraft Ulduar

We now have a set release date for what is to be considered the best raid to ever come to World of Warcraft, Ulduar. Not only that, but we have the Argent Tournament making its debut, Titan Rune dungeons starting up, and Emblem changes to go with it.

Ulduar is easily considered the best raid that has come to World of Warcraft, not only because of how cool it looks but also because the mechanics and sheer difficulty of each boss fight are just unmatched. Ulduar brings us several interesting features, such as allowing us to use Demolishers to take on hordes of enemies to even make it to the first boss. Rather than the run-of-the-mill "tank and spank", we actually have to use footwork and the abilities at our disposal to make progress. I can already hear the cries of raiders and guilds everywhere on their fourth wipe of the night.

As if the raid being released next week wasn't enough for Classic fans, the Argent Tournament will be stampeding its way back to World of Warcraft. Players will now be able to prepare themselves for the battle against the Lich King by taking on some of the most ruthless dangers Northrend has to offer. At the top of every hour, Highlord Tirion Fordring will make an announcement that it is time to test your mettle to see if you have what it takes to be chosen as the next Hero of Azeroth.

Changes to the Emblem system are also being made, including the Emblem of Conquest being added to the game. These new emblems can only be obtained from the new Ulduar raid and “Proof of Demise” heroic dungeon quests. Along with the new emblems come new Emblem Vendors that can be found in Sunreaver’s Sanctuary for Horde players and The Silver Enclave for Alliance. This is where you will be able to purchase the latest armor and accessories to prepare yourself for the hell that awaits you in Ulduar, as well as the Deadly Gladiator PvP sets.

The Storm Peaks raid will open its doors on January 19, 2023, at 3 pm PST, while the rest of the content will be available after the patch on Tuesday, January 17, 2023.
