What Are the Humble Choice December 2020 Games?

There are quite a few gems included in this month's batch of titles in Humble's subscription service — here are the Humble Choice December 2020 games!

The Beast Inside

The Beast Inside offers players "a unique, gripping twist on thriller and survival horror." In this game, ex-CIA analyst Adam leaves the city to live in the countryside with his wife. Unfortunately, there's something very wrong, and you'll soon find yourself immersed in a story playing as two protagonists in entirely different time periods.

Children of Morta

Children of Morta tells the tale of the Bergson family, a group of mystical warriors who have been combating an ancient darkness for centuries. This darkness arises once again, and it's up to you (and a friend, if you'd liket) to jump into this ARPG game and save the world from the looming Corruption. Unlock more family members — each with their own abilities — and combat this growing threat before it's too late!

Frog Detective 1: The Haunted Island

This 3D mystery adventure game has you playing as a frog who alsso happens to be a detective. You'll travel to a spooky haunted island and uncover a mystery amidst a cast of adorable characters.

Frog Detective 2: The Case of the Invisible Wizard

The Frog Detective returns once again. This time, he's apparently after an invisible wizard, something that totally makes sense — after all, using your magical powers to become invisible is probably pretty handy. There's a mystery to solve and you're just the Frog to do it!

Indivisible

Indivisible is a game in two parts. Players will traverse the world in a platformer, eventually engaging in turn-based battles against their enemies. Along the way, our hero Ajna will encounter "Incarnations" — helpful people who can give her special powers and help her in her quest, both in platforming and in combat.

One Step from Eden

It slices, it dices, it's three genres in one! One Step From Eden combines roguelite gameplay, deckbuilding, and grid-based action in a game with interesting, tactical combat. Carefully select your abilities and then take on your enemies on the grid — just be careful where you step!

Overcooked! 2 Too Many Cooks + Surf 'N' Turf Pack

In Overcooked 2, you've already defeated the monstrous Ever Peckish from the first game. Now, The Unbread is threatening the Onion Kingdom — it's up to you to cook the best dishes as fast as you can to fight this gluten-filled evil! Should you pick this as one of your Humble Choice December 2020 games, you'll also score the Surf 'N' Turf and Too Many Cooks DLC.

Path of Giants

This super-chill puzzle game has you traveling through beautiful, hand-crafted levels and solving puzzles. You're in search of a grand treasure, but you'll have to cross perilous cliffs and chilling caves along the way!

Shining Resonance Refrain

In this turn-based RPG, the Empire is trying to wield the power of the ancient dragons — including that of the Shining Dragon within you. Yuma and her allies must fight the Empire and stop them from taking over the land!

Still There

Still There has you playing as the lonesome keeper of a "space lighthouse." Your only companion is the artificial intelligence Gorky — you'll have to keep this location maintained, take care of a pet, and uncover a mystery out in the middle of nowhere.

Struggling

In this game, you play as a horrifying mass of biomatter with two arms. You'll have to navigate through strange locations filled with even stranger creatures, unlocking new mutations to expand your powers and trying not to get too freaked out about how gross everything is.

Tabletop Playground

Tabletop Playground lets you and up to 15 of your friends enjoy various tabletop games or make your own, backed by a physics engine and a robust in-game editor. There's a lot you can do already, and more is sure to come as this game progresses in Steam Early Access.

Zwei: The Arges Adventure

Step-siblings Pokkle and Pipiro live alone in the village of Puck, snugly nested on the floating continent of Arges. It's a relaxed, happy life — that is, until six holy relics are stolen by a masked figure! Travel across the land in this action RPG created by the same people who brought you Ys and The Legend of Heroes!

Zwei: The Ilvard Insurrection

The next game in the Zwei franchise brings you much of the same fun gameplay with new characters! As the title implies, you'll be controlling Ragna and Aiwen, an unusual team that forms after a catastrophic plane crash. Help the vampire princess Aiwen reclaim her castle as you journey across the land!

Humble Choice December 2020 Games Extras – The Corridor

Aside from the cool items available in the Humble Choice December 2020 games, an "extra" will be made available to everyone who's subscribed this month: The Corridor.

The Corridor is a game with a corridor. At one end is a door. At the other end, a button. That's it. You push the button and things happen. There's no more gameplay... or is there? You'll be able to find out the mysteries of this short and strange game when you make your picks for the December 2020 Humble Choice games.
