Xbox Wire is reporting today that Halo: Spartan Assault will be coming to Xbox One on Dec. 24. Merry Christmas!

Halo: Spartan Assault was released for Windows 8 and Phone 8 earlier this year, and reviewed by us. Now it's time to bring it to the big screen. On December 24 Halo: Spartan Assault will be available via a digital download on Xbox One and priced at $14.99.

The improvements will include it being in native 1080p resolution and smooth 60 fps frame rate, it will also feature a brand-new cooperative mode, new weapons, and the inclusion of the “Operation Hydra” add-on.

Bumming out because you already bought it for Windows 8? Don't fret. If you bought it prior to December 15, 2013, you will be eligible to purchase the Xbox One version of the game at the discounted price of $4.99.

They also said that Halo: Spartan Assault will be available for te 360 in January 2014.

Ho! Ho! Ho!
