Ginger: Beyond The Crystal, a 3D platformer developed by Drakhar Studio and published by BadLand Games, will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch on November 17th according to a press release from the publisher.

In a world where a magical crystal keeps everything in balance, players take on the role of Ginger, a diminutive blue adventurer who sets out to repair the damage of a devastating tragedy. You must solve puzzles to rescue villagers caught up in various calamities. You'll also have to put a roof over their heads - you can collect resources as you move through the world and put them to use by rebuilding a village that's a few townspeople short of a healthy population. The game's trailer should give you a solid idea of what the gameplay is like and how the game looks:

The game features 15 core levels alongside another 15 bonus levels. Each level is packed with side quests and secrets for players to discover in their quest to rebuild the world. The developers state that you should expect about 15 hours of playtime out of the title from start to finish. Dedicated players can load up the "Old School" New Game+ mode that presents new challenges in the same world with a difficulty scaling a bit more in line with the 3D Nintendo platformers of yesteryear.

If you're not keen on waiting for the Nintendo Switch release, you can get the game on Steam, the Xbox One, and the PlayStation 4. We reviewed the PlayStation 4 version of the game late last year. You'll be able to get Ginger: Beyond The Crystal on the Nintendo eShop with a physical version to follow sometime in 2018.
