Today, all the nominees for The Game Awards 2023 have been announced, honoring some of the best games and personalities of the year in 31 categories.
The nominees for Game of the Year are Alan Wake 2, Baldur's Gate 3, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Resident Evil 4, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Baldur's Gate 2 and Alan Wake 2 lead nominations with 8 each, followed by Marvel's Spider-Man 2 with 7, Hi-Fi Rush, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom with 5, Cyberpunk 2077 and Final Fantasy XVI with 4, and Resident Evil 4 and Street Fighter 6 with 3.
Nintendo leads publishers with 15 nominations, Sony follows with 13, and Xbox (including Bethesda and Activision Blizzard) gets 10.

The Game Awards 2023 will air on December 7 from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. The opening act will start at 4:30 p.m. PST, 7:30 p.m. EST, 00:30 a.m. GMT on December 8, and 1:30 a.m. CET, depending on where you live.
