Blizzard Entertainment has finally given us the release date for the first major content update to hit World of Warcraft Dragonflight, but fans will have to wait seven extra days to utilize one of the latest features.
At the end of 2022, it was announced that World of Warcraft Dragonflight would be receiving a never-before-seen feature called the trading post, where players can spend the Traders Tender they earn on cosmetics and goodies. At that point, there wasn't too much information on what kind of goodies fans could expect, but since then plenty of items have been revealed.
Every month, players will earn 500 Traders Tender just by logging into the game and opening the Collectors Cache located within one of the major cities (Orgrimmar for Horde and Stormwind for Alliance). Players may also earn the currency by completing monthly tasks such as placing 20 items in the Auction House or resurrecting a party member. A Travelers Log will be available to keep track of the monthly activities to complete in rider to score more of the currency. At the Trading Post, there will be vendors that supply mounts, transmog, and a few pets to keep you company. Sadly, this feature will not be available for use until February 1st, but you can familiarize yourself with the location of the vendors after update 10.0.5 goes live.

So, what will be available on the day of the content update? First off, we will have a new Primal Storm Event. The Storm's Fury event takes place in the Primalist Future, and every five hours, players can gather at the Temporal Conflux to take on some of the most brutal of monsters. This area can be found in Thaldraszus and those who embark on this dangerous journey will be rewarded with Essence of the Storm which can be turned in for a Skyskin Hornstrider mount or the Time-Lost Vorquin Foal pet.
On top of the Primal Storm, players can now gather even more transmog than before, as Common and Poor quality items have been added to the list. These items will be BOE -- or Bind on Equip -- and will be added to the Appearances collection tab. To read the full list of content updates, head over to the World of Warcraft web page.
