Space combat and virtual reality come together in End Space, a single-player space combat simulator. Your vision won't simply be a passive tool in this game; you aim your guns with your gaze direction and control your ship with your controller. Have a gander at the announcement trailer to get a feel for what gameplay will be like:
Set in the distant Tartarus Sector, the player takes on the role of a Minos Starfighter pilot working for the UTC. A string of hit-and-run attacks by the insurgent group Tartarus Liberation Front have been committed with the ultimate goal of gaining autonomy for the sector, but the UTC isn't having it - they've elected to employ a cadre of elite fighters to deal with the problem directly. It's up to you, a brand new recruit to the fleet, to put a lid on things before they get any further out of hand. Your journey will take you through numerous battles in the Tartarus Sector in a mission-based, story-driven single-player campaign throughout this little corner of the galaxy.
The game is set to release for both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro. PlayStation 4 Pro owners will get a number of enhancements for the game including 8XAA, Post-processing effects, and High-Polygon models. If you'd like to snap up End Space, you can get it for the PlayStation VR for $19.99 on September 19, 2017. PlayStation Plus members will get a 10% discount during the launch week.
