Prepare yourself to reach new heights and take on the most massive of hordes, as the Dungeon Defenders Going Rogue update is live. The developers at Chromatic Games have decided to bring back a fan favorite character, add in some cool new mechanics, and even throw in more traps for you to capture your enemies and blast them to bits.

Dungeon Defenders Going Rogue is a perfect blend of an RPG, a Roguelite, and a Tower-Defense game. You and three friends (or strangers if you use the Online Co-Op feature) will team up to destroy the opposition while collecting runes and weapons along the way, which will come in handy during the epic boss battles. As you collect more runes and weapons, you will notice that your chosen hero's build will also change, making you an absolute nightmare on the battlefield. Want to traverse the world on your own? No problem! The game also provides a solo play option as well.

In this new update, the devs have decided to bring back the Series EV-GR character, which was one of the most popular heroes to use. We also see that one of the iconic bosses from the original game has been brought back, but with a twist. The boss now takes on the appearance of a giant and viscous sandworm. More so, we see that there are two brand new heroes added to the roster, along with a new enemy type to fight.

As for the quality of life improvements, the level cap has been raised, players can now trade amongst each other, and there are now cross-saves available. The character loadout screen also received a huge makeover, which now provides a plethora of new choices that you can use to customize your loadout to your play style. What's more, is that we see there have been new items, weapons, and abilities added to the random drops within the game, meaning you can add more to your arsenal than ever before.

The Dungeon Defenders Going Rogue update is available now via Steam.
