A small-scale (but nonetheless epic) crossover has taken place between two excellent franchises: a CS:GO Halo Sticker Capsule is now available in the game.

What's a sticker? Well, it's a flat, decorative object with an adhesive backing, but that's not important right now.

In the context of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, a sticker is something that you can slap onto the side of your gun. Why? Why not is more like it. These decorative items have been available for some time and there's some pretty cool ones out there, but they just got a heck of a lot cooler.

The CS:GO Halo Sticker Capsule Details

The tweet announcing the CS:GO Halo Sticker Capsule shgows off ten Paper stickers, five Holo stickers, and two Foil stickers. Of course, a version of the Spartan helkment is available in every single one of the qualities — after all, you can't have Halo without Master Chief.

This new Sticker Capsule is puirchasable in-game as a cross-promotion with the Halo games — an especially timely one as they're gradually making their way onto Steam for the first time ever.

Aside from some sweet stickers, loyal fans of both franchises will have something else available to them. Anyone who owns Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Steam will also be able to unlock The Master Chief Collection Music Kit. You won't get it right away, though; you'll have to accrue "sufficient playing time" in that particular game to unlock it. The blog post that details this update doesn't specifiy exactly how much time, but it probably isn't all that long.

You can grab the CS:GO Halo Sticker Capsule within Counter-Strike: Global Offensive right now. There were also a few small other changes which you can read in the full blog post.

What do you think of the CS:GO Halo Sticker Capsule? Do you have a particular favorite in the bunch? Let us know in the comments below!
