Oddball wrestling game Chiki-Chiki Boxy Pro Wrestling will suplex its way onto Nintendo Switch on June 27th. The game is the second in the Chiki-Chiki series after 2018's Chiki-Chiki Boxy Racers.
Chiki-Chiki Boxy Pro Wrestling will combine the boxy aesthetic of the Chiki-Chiki series with single-button wrestling moves and combo chains. According to developer The Pocket Company, you'll be able to unleash powerful combos after spending just a short amount of time in the game's training mode. You'll also be able to team up with tag team partners to perform devastating double team moves in local and online multiplayer. Check out the launch trailer for Chiki-Chiki Boxy Pro Wrestling below:
There will be seven tournaments on offer in Chiki-Chiki Boxy Pro Wrestling, each one more difficult than the last. Tournaments will consist of four stages and will take place in both conventional wrestling rings and in unusual locations like volcanoes, icebergs, and grassy fields. Each stage has unique features which you'll be able to use to get an advantage over your opponents. You'll earn prize money by winning tournaments. That money can be used to unlock parts for custom wrestlers. You can alter not only the appearance of your wrestler but their move set too.
Multiplayer-wise, there's plenty to enjoy in Chiki-Chiki Boxy Pro Wrestling. Local co-op and competitive modes are available, as well as an online versus mode. The game will offer a variety of match types including tag team matches, battle royales (think more WWE than Fortnite) and classic single matches. Online games will support up to six players and you'll be able to duke it out with gamers from around the world.
