Blizzard has accidentally leaked press kits for new World of Warcraft: Shadowlands content and World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic ahead of its BlizzConline event. It seems you'll soon be able to journey back to old-school Outland with your buddies.
What will World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic feature?
According to the leak - which you can check out in full on WoWhead - Burning Crusade Classic will give players a chance to "return to Outland as it once was". It'll work in much the same way as the original WoW Classic did for the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. Burning Crusade Classic will launch just as the original expansion did back in 2007 and will get regular content patches with Burning Crusade patch content. These will include the Black Temple raid, Zul'Aman, and the Sunwell, among other additions.

The leaked Burning Crusade Classic press release also says you'll be able to choose the era you play in. New "Classic Era" servers won't include Burning Crusade Classic, so if you only want to play vanilla, you can. You'll be given the choice whether to advance to Burning Crusade content or remain in vanilla Classic prior to the launch of Burning Crusade Classic. Just like regular WoW Classic, you'll also be able to play Burning Crusade Classic without paying any extra on top of your existing subscription.
What's coming to World of Warcraft: Shadowlands?
As well as the Burning Crusade Classic leak, Blizzard also accidentally revealed upcoming content for Shadowlands. "Chains of Domination" will be the first major content update for the new expansion. It'll feature a new outdoor area, a new Torghast raid, and a brand new "mega-dungeon" taking place in a Broker bazaar. From the looks of Blizzard's promotional material, Anduin Wrynn has fallen to the malign influence of Sylvanas and the Jailer, so you may well have to take him on, too.

The new Shadowlands update will also bring new cosmetic Covenant armor wearable by any class, plus new Soulbind powers and a new seasonal Mythic Keystone dungeon affix. Perhaps most excitingly for Shadowlands players, however, you'll finally be able to unlock flight in the four Shadowlands Covenant areas in the Chains of Domination update. That means you still won't be able to fly in The Maw, but Bastion, Maldraxxus, Ardenweald, and Revendreth are all opening up their skies.
The BlizzConline presentation is due to take place on Friday February 19th and Saturday February 20th. Expect to see Burning Crusade Classic and Chains of Domination officially announced during that presentation, along with more Blizzard news. You can watch the full event live on Blizzard's official Twitch channel. In the meantime, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is currently available to buy on PC.
