In the second round of competition at the World Championships, Nintendo revealed Blast Ball for 3DS. Players climb into mechs and blast a giant soccer ball around an arena while attempting to score goals against the opposing team. The match shown during the tournament was three players per team. Power-ups are released onto the arena on certain intervals, and players can be ejected from their mechs to eliminate them for play temporarily. Similar to Splatoon, this is another nonviolent competition game from Nintendo.
