One of the most appreciated adult games of the past few years is Dojin Otome's Summer Memories, and now a sequel titled Winter Memories has just been released.
The game is available on Steam and GoG for $15.99 with a 20% launch discount.
It's a direct sequel of Summer Memories (not to be confused with Granzella's Disaster Report: Summer Memories) and it's an adult-oriented dating simulation RPG enriched by adorable pixel-art visuals.
Of course, in order to get the most out of the game, you need to download a patch for free from publisher Kagura Games, otherwise, you'll find yourself with a visually pleasant and somewhat cozy, but highly censored dating sim.
Winter Memories involves the hero revisiting the peaceful coastal town portrayed in Summer Memories, but this time in the winter. There he'll meet his cousins Rio and Yui, and their kind mother Miyuki, on top of a large cast of friends.
The gameplay includes the traditional time management fans of dating simulators will be familiar with, prompting you to decide what to do every day in order to achieve your goals.
On top of that, there are plenty of minigames to enjoy, adding quite a lot of variety to the gameplay loop.
Progress will result in making plenty of new memories that will be cute and cozy without the patch, and quite a bit steamier if you have the patch installed.
It's worth mentioning that due to how the story is structured, you don't really need to have played Summer Memories to enjoy the sequel. Of course, there are references and characters in common, but the interactions pretty much start fresh.
Below you can check out a trailer to provide you with a (entirely safe for work) idea of what you can expect from Winter Memories.
If you're interested in pixel art games, we recently saw the reveal of Hookah Haze by Acquire.
