Video Game Releases for November 2018: Quiet Man, Loud Nukes

With the holiday season hot on our heels the gaming industry is pulling out all the stops to wow us with some last minute releases. There are some big names coming out this November. Will you be picking up any?

November 1st

The Quiet Man (Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

A cinematic experience will come to Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 1st in The Quiet Man. It combines live action, CG, and action-based gameplay.

November 2nd

Taiko No Tatsujin: Drum 'n' Fun / Drum Session (Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4)

The popular Japanese series of drumming games come to the West in two forms both releasing on November 2nd. Switch uses will be able to enjoy Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum 'n' Fun while PlayStation 4 users will receive Taiko No Tatsujin: Drum Session. The Switch version will utilize motion controls while the PlayStation version focuses on ranked matches.

Football Manager 2019  (Android, iOs, Microsoft Windows)

The latest in the Football Manager series, Football Manager 2019 comes to Android, iOs, and Microsoft Windows on November 2nd. You strategize matches as well as take part in training. It is also set to release on Nintendo Switch this year.

Lego Harry Potter Collection  (Nintendo Switch, Xbox One)

Released back on PlayStation 4 in 2016 all of the Lego Harry Potter games are now available in one collection from November 2nd on Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. Years 1-4 will appear in their original form where are years 5-7 are remastered.

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Collection / Eternal Collection  (Nintendo Switch)

Diablo III will release for Nintendo Switch on November 2nd in two forms. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Collection will contain the base Diablo III game as well as the Reaper of Souls expansion. The Diablo III: Eternal Collection features everything contained in the previous collection as well as the Rise of the Necromancer pack.

November 5th

Moonlighter  (Nintendo Switch)

Releasing in May of this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows, indie hit Moonlighter will be available for Nintendo Switch on November 5th. You play an item shop salesman with dreams of crawling dungeons.

November 6th

World of Final Fantasy Maxima  (Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows)

Featuring characters from the previous Final Fantasy games, World of Final Fantasy Maxima releases on November 6th for Nintendo Switch. PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows. Heavily based on the original game which came out in 2016 it includes new Final Fantasy heroes and monsters.

 

Grip: Combat Racing (Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows)

Finally coming out of Early Access Grip: Combat Racing comes to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows on November 6th. A racing game where you try to annihilate the competition.

Deracine (PlayStation VR)

Developed by FromSoftware, creators of Bloodborne and Dark SoulsDeracine comes exclusively to PlayStation VR on November 6th. You play a spirit summoned by a student at a boarding school who has to develop unique bonds with the students.

Brawlhalla  (Nintendo Switch, Xbox One)

While it came out for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4 last year, Brawlhalla now comes to Nintendo Switch and Xbox One on November 6th. This is a free-to-play 2D platforming fighting title.

ARK: Extinction  (Android, iOs, Mac Os, Linux, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows)

Coming out for Android, iOs, Mac Os, Linux, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows, ARK: Extinction comes out on November 6th. This is an expansion pack for ARK: Survival Evolved and is slated to be available on Nintendo Switch at a later date.

Overkill's The Walking Dead  (Microsoft Windows)

Overkill's first-person shooter take on the classic series comes to Microsoft Windows on November 6th titled Overkill's The Walking Dead. It is Virtual Reality compatible and will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in February 2019.

November 7th

Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Don't Dry (Microsoft Windows)

The latest in the long-running Leisure Suit Larry series, Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Don't Dry comes to Microsoft Windows on November 7th. This new adventure sees an 80's era Larry thrown cluelessly into the modern-day dating scene.

November 8th

Valiant Hearts: The Great War  (Nintendo Switch)

Originally coming out back in 2014, Valiant Hearts: The Great War comes to Nintendo Switch on November 8th. This is a character-driven Ubisoft adventure set during wartime.

November 9th

Tetris Effect (PlayStation VR, PlayStation 4)

Available either as the standard game on PlayStation 4, or 360 mode on PlayStation VR, Tetris Effect comes out on November 9th. Here you can play Tetris in full 360 3D, in over 30 different stages.

November 13th

SNK 40th Anniversary Edition  (Nintendo Switch)

Coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch SNK 40th Anniversary Edition comes out on November 13th. This is a collection of classic SNK arcade games to celebrate the company's 40 years in the industry.

Hitman 2 (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows)

The first sequel to the Hitman reboot, Hitman 2 comes to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows on November 13th. The latest game boasts 6 different exotic locations where you can carry out your hits.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy (PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

Following the huge success of the remakes of the PlayStation classic trilogy Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy another old trilogy is being revamped with the Spyro Reignited Trilogy coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 13th. It contains the three Spyro games from the original PlayStation era.

November 14th

Fallout 76  (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows)

One of the most anticipated releases of the month, Fallout 76 comes to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows on November 14th. Taking place in the post-apocalypse real-world, players will choose whether to fight or survive together.

November 15th

Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus  (Microsoft Windows)

The latest in the Warhammer 40,000 series of games Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus comes to Microsoft Windows on November 15th. It features a whole new expedition on a new planet.

Underworld Ascendant (Microsoft Windows)

Slated for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch next year, Underworld Ascendant will first come to Microsoft Windows on November 15th. This is a single player dungeon crawler RPG.

November 16th

Sid Meier's Civilization VI  (Nintendo Switch)

Coming out for Microsoft Windows in 2016, Sid Meier's Civilization VI comes to Nintendo Switch on November 16th. It's the latest in the classic turn-based strategy series of games.

Pokemon: Let's Go, Eevee! / Pikachu!  (Nintendo Switch)

A whole new take on Pokemon YellowPokemon: Let's Go, Eevee! and Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu! will come to Nintendo Switch on November 16th. It mixes classic Pokemon RPG gameplay with the catching abilities featured in Pokemon Go.

November 20th

Farming Simulator 19  (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows)

The latest in the Farming Simulator series, Farming Simulator 19 comes to Xbox One, Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4 on November 20th. At launch, it comes with three distinct open worlds.

Artifact (Microsoft Windows, Linux, Mac Os)

Valve has released a new game, as Artifact comes to Microsoft Windows, Linux and Mac Os on November 20th. Artifact is a trading card game based on DOTA 2.

Battlefield V  (Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows)

The sixth in the mainline Battlefield series and the sequel to Battlefield 1, Battlefield V comes out on November 20th. While Battlefield 1 took place in World War I Battlefield V takes place during World War II.

 

Warframe  (Nintendo Switch)

While it has been available on Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4 since 2013 and Xbox One since 2014, the free to play war game Warframe finally comes to Nintendo Switch on November 20th.

November 27th

Darksiders III  (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows)

The long-awaited third chapter in the Darksiders trilogy Darksiders III comes to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows on November 27th. This like the previous games is a hack 'n' slash action adventure.

Battletech: Flashpoint (Microsoft Windows)

An expansion to Battletech,  Battletech: Flashpoint comes to Microsoft Windows on November 27th. It claims to add over 30 hours of new content to the base game.

November 29th

Asterix & Obelix XXL 2 (Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows)

Asterix & Obelix are back in Asterix & Obelix XXL 2 coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows on November 29th. This is a remaster of the original game with updated comic book style graphics.

November 30th

X4: Foundations (Microsoft Windows)

The next in the X series of games, X4: Foundations comes to Microsoft Windows on November 30th. Choose and pilot your own spaceship in this open sandbox.
