Looking for something casual to play? Look no further than Townscaper, a small indie game from developer Oskar Stålberg.
Create and design your own little seaside town with a large-scale map as your canvas. The sky is the limit, quite literally, as you can design any sort of townscape you see fit. Create large castle cities, small little island villages, multi-colored lighthouses, or just go wild with it. Each block is put into the world on an irregular grid and uses an algorithm to automatically turn the blocks into what you need, from homes to arches, stairways to bridges, to more.
Stålberg designed Townscaper to be more of a relaxing experience than a full-fledged game, so those looking for something small to do will likely enjoy the experience the most. Townscaper will be available for the PC, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android devices.

Townscaper is an experimental passion project. More of a toy than a game. Pick colors from the palette, plop down colored blocks of house on the irregular grid, and watch Townscaper's underlying algorithm automatically turn those blocks into cute little houses, arches, stairways, bridges, and lush backyards, depending on their configuration.
