With World of Warcraft‘s 15th anniversary soon upon us, Blizzard is releasing a Collector’s Edition for the MMO’s birthday.

The World of Warcraft 15th Anniversary Collector’s Edition is filled to the brim with physical and digital goodies. The highlight of this bundle is the Ragnaros statue. Ragnaros is perhaps Vanilla World of Warcraft‘s most iconic boss. The giant Lord of Fire statue is actually quite sizable as well, standing almost a full foot tall.

A commemorative Onyxia Pin comes with this collector’s edition, featuring the grinning – perhaps severed – head of the dragon. Other physical items include several pieces of high-quality art prints longtime players might recognize. A mouse pad featuring the entire map of the World of Warcraft‘s explorable regions, along with the Outlands and Draenor, is included.

This comes bundled in an alabaster-themed box. Digital goodies include two alabaster mounts: a gryphon for the Alliance, and a wyvern for the Horde. Players also get a month’s worth of game time in World of Warcraft, perhaps just in time for the upcoming release of World of Warcraft Classic.

The World of Warcraft 15th Anniversary Collector’s Edition costs $99.99 and they are taking pre-orders right now. This edition is set to release some time before the end of October 2019, so be sure to grab it fast if you’re interested.

Quick Take

I can’t say I own a lot of collector’s editions, but I am happy to add this one to my collection. Other than being a longtime World of Warcraft player since Vanilla, I find that the price and the contents are quite reasonable. I like everything included in this, but I have to wonder how the quality of the Ragnaros statue will end up.

I love to write, and I love to game. So, I've combined those two hobbies into one! Some of my favorite games include Fire Emblem, Halo, The Elder Scrolls, and World of Warcraft. Sometimes I like to read the occasional fantasy novel, too!
