Telltale Games has been hard at work making a good number of great storytelling games such as The Walking Dead, Wolf Among Us, and currently in production: Tales From the Borderlands and Game of Thrones! We’ve been awaiting what we’ll see from both games, but recently we got a glimpse at some screenshots of Tales From the Borderlands!

When you have a game like borderlands, with a ton of epic actions and pretty much a bazillion guns, you wonder how Telltale will be able to incorporate the experience and story of Borderlands into a completely different type of story. Well the nice thing is, the game will be different from the other Borderlands games, but really keep to the essence and look and feel of them. Not to mention…the loot you earn in-game will integrate with other Borderlands games!

This is a great thing though, because Gearbox created a huge world with a ton of amazing characters, from Handsome Jack to Mad Moxxi. In fact, the game will feature Marcus Kincaid, Fiona (new), Rhys (new), Zer0, and Shade. Creating a Telltale-styled game in the series gives the fans a chance to experience a story and game that gives us more of the world we’ve come to love.

Check out the screenshots below for a peek at what we’ll be getting from the upcoming game!

Tales from the Borderlands 3 Tales from the Borderlands1 Tales from the Borderlands2 Tales from the Borderlands4 Tales from the Borderlands5

The nice thing about Telltale is that they generally use the same art style in all their games, and it’s one that fits perfectly for Borderlands. The screenshots really do the Borderlands series justice, and you can already tell that the Borderlands humor we’ve come to know and love will be a part of the game.

Some quick points on this new series:

  • Any loot that you get from the series can be used in other Borderlands games. Cool right!?
  • Just like any Telltale series, your choices actually matter.
  • You’ll be in the roles of two characters. Rhys works for Hyperion and Fiona is a fast-talking con artist, both have their own story lines.
  • The game takes place after the events of Borderlands 2.
  • As usual, each episode will be $4.99

Well that’s a bit about the game! We’ll have more details as we get closer to release, so make sure to keep up with us as we release it! Sound off in the comments below: Are you excited for this game?
