Players will set out to save lives on the high seas in Stormworks: Build and Rescue. You’re tasked with managing a sea-rescue service, an organization that rapidly responds to water vessels in distress. Vehicles are created in a block-based building system and can be customized with logic programming as well as cosmetic features such as paint. Whether you create a boat, a helicopter, or something else entirely, your job will be to head out to sea in all sorts of weather to rescue people in distress in the water.
After creating a vehicle, you’ll be tasked with a variety of missions ranging from benign cargo runs in sunny, calm seas to intense rescue missions in the midst of a maelstrom. Whatever vehicle you create, you’ll pilot it yourself in your efforts to move cargo and save lives. The game will feature a day-night cycle as well as dynamic weather, and a physics-based displacement-buoyancy system will make navigating rough seas all the more challenging.
