Cartoon Network is teaming up with development studio, Vicious Cycle and Little Orbit to bring a brand-new Adventure Time game in 3D to multiple platforms in the Fall of 2015.

Titled Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations, the game is a real-time, fully 3D action twist on the oldschool graphic adventure games. Join Finn and Jake as they carry on the profession of Finn’s foster parents, who were Professional Investigators. Confronted with mysterious disappearances and events, players will get the chance to interrogate the inhabitants of the Land of Ooo, dispatch enemies in a fast-paced combat mode, solve puzzles and genuinely feel as though they have stepped into an actual episode of Adventure Time.

Commenting about the game, CEO of Little Orbit, Matt Scott, had this to say:

We received a lot of fan feedback asking us to bring our next Adventure Time game to next generation consoles in 3D, and we’re thrilled to be delivering that and a lot more. This new game is a complete departure from previous Adventure Time games. We have created an intriguing classic adventure game set in a richly detailed 3D Land of Ooo where players can check out Land of Ooo locales, talk to characters, sharpen their creative puzzle-solving skills, defeat bad guys and just have fun.

Vice President of Cartoon Network, Pete Yoder, also commented on the game:

A large part of the charm of Adventure Time is the incredibly creative and expansive world of characters that live in the Land of Ooo and combine to create a really unique story and connection. In Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations, Vicious Cycle has developed a game that truly immerses players into that world and offers fans a 3D gaming experience unlike anything we’ve ever done.

Adventure time: Finn and Jake Adventures will be coming out sometime in the Fall on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo 3DS and the PC. More information and release dates will be made available soon.
