Team Ninja has released its Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty roadmap for 2023, and there's a ton of content on the way for the Soulslike hack-and-slash RPG.
In a new director's letter, Wo Long producer and director Masakazu Hirayama says the plan is to provide players with new content for the game every month between now and December.
According to Hirayama-san, the roadmap's focus will be twofold: "expanding the scope of strategy with a focus on action and RPG" and "improving the ease of playability".
First, in August, another boss rush mission will be added, and it'll be playable online, so you can take on some of Wo Long's toughest bosses with your friends to gain rewards.
Following on from this, the second major piece of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty DLC will be released in September, leading on from June's Battle of Zhongyuan DLC.
Alongside this second piece of DLC, major balance improvements are also coming in September, as is the Lies of P crossover revealed in June.
In October, another free update will be released, bringing more balance changes and feature improvements, plus more to be announced at a later date.
November will see yet another balance and feature update, as well as a collaboration with Nioh, one of Team Ninja's other hack-and-slash Soulslike titles.
Finally, in December, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty's third major piece of DLC will arrive, bringing new enemies, story content, gear, and more. It'll come alongside another balance update.
To close out the director's letter, Hirayama-san also apologizes for any inconvenience PC players have faced when playing Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
The game launched to a negative reception on PC, with players complaining about poor optimization and performance.
Fixes for the PC version of the game followed, but at time of writing, Wo Long is still sitting at a Mixed rating on Steam, with recent reviews hitting the Mostly Negative category.
Hirayama-san says that because there are "many combinations of PC environments in each household", it's hard to replicate and fix all of the game's PC issues.
However, he says the team will continue to pursue fixes on PC, and asks for players' patience during this process.
You can play Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty right now on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
TechRaptor's Isaac Todd awarded the game 7 out of 10 in his review, finding praise for its "familiar yet enjoyable" gameplay but criticizing its linearity and "abridged" story.
