Warhammer 40k: Darktide has received a new update, adding more weapons to your reject's arsenal and bringing a host of new Conditions as well. There are also numerous bug fixes and feature updates, including tweaks to AMD FSR, balance changes for each of the game's classes, and more.

Darktide launched back in November last year, and developer Fatshark has been diligently working on patches and content updates for the game since. This latest update, Tools of War, kicks off with the ability to see blessings you haven't earned yet for Re-Blessing, giving you more info about what you're getting into. You can check this information at the Shrine of the Omnissiah.

Plenty of new Weapon Marks have been added, so you can expand the arsenal you're using to wage holy war in the name of the Emperor. New Marks include the Deimos Mk IV Blaze Force Sword, which focuses on single-target damage, and the Illisi Mk V Blaze Force Sword, which is intended to dispatch hordes. There are, after all, a lot of hordes in Darktide.

When this guy's bearing down on you, you'll be glad you've got your Deimos Mk IV Blaze Force Sword. For the Emperor!

Fatshark has also added several new Conditions and Combos to Darktide in the Tools of War update. New Conditions include the Shock Troop Gauntlet, in which Specialists are doubled and spawn in waves, and Ventilation Purge with Snipers, which covers the map in fog and positions snipers around the mission to disorient you.

If running between the Shrine of the Omnissiah and the Armory has been annoying for you, then you'll be pleased to know the latter has been repositioned to move it closer to the former. You shouldn't have so much of a trek now, so you're free to focus on taking down those hordes.

Of course, there's lots more, so take a look at the Tools of War patch notes on Steam if you want to read about what's happened to your beloved class. Warhammer 40k: Darktide is available right now on PC, and it's also set to come to Xbox Series X|S at some point in the future. Stay tuned for more on this game.
