Rare has announced that Sea of Thieves PS5 pre-orders are now open, and three different editions are available, each offering a host of piratical goodies for you to plunder.

Alongside Grounded and PentimentSea of Thieves was announced to be coming to PlayStation 5 back in February, and you can now pre-order it if you just can't wait to set sail.

Pre-ordering any of the game's editions will grant you access to a range of exclusive goodies, including a Ruby Viper weapon set and a special Scarlet Storm Parakeet pet. You'll also gain access to the PS5 Sea of Thieves closed beta, which takes place in mid-April.

You'll gain access to this snazzy Ruby Viper weapon set if you pre-order Sea of Thieves on PS5.

Pre-ordering the Premium Edition of Sea of Thieves, meanwhile, will grant you access to the game's Season 12 Plunder Pass, as well as giving you five days' worth of early access to the game on PS5.

Naturally, each edition of the game also comes with its own bevy of goodies. The Deluxe Edition includes a set of Ocean Crawler cosmetics, as well as a Collector's Thunderous Fury figurehead and sails set, a Shrouded Ghost Hunter blunderbuss, and 10,000 Gold.

Picking up the Premium Edition gets you everything in the Deluxe Edition, plus a Dark Warsmith ship set and costume and a Diabolical Dog pet.

Purchasing any edition of Sea of Thieves on PS5 will also net you a special Athena's Fortune audiobook, a 2024 original soundtrack, and a Rough Guide ebook to get you started.

If you're playing outside of PS5, don't worry; these new editions will also be released on PC and Xbox next week, when the March content update for Sea of Thieves arrives. That update is also bringing new anti-cheat technology and a removal of the Game Pass requirement for solo players.

Sea of Thieves is available right now on PC and Xbox. It's due to arrive on PlayStation 5 on April 30th.
