It's that time of the month, and Gran Turismo 7 producer Kazunori Yamauchi teased the next update coming to the popular racing simulator.
The next update is coming next week, and according to Yamauchi-san's tease shared on Twitter, it's "big." Specifically, the Japanese part of the Tweet says "pretty big" in case you'd like to manage expectations.
Interestingly, we also learn that it'll include four new cars. You can check out their silhouettes below.

While Yamauchi-san did not formally announce the makes and models of the cars, some of them are recognizable, including the Honda RA272 vintage F1 car, the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7, and a Citronen DS23 or DS21. The fourth car remains a mystery, but it could be another Vision GT.
At the moment, we don't know much about what else could be included in this "pretty big" update. We'll have to wait for next week for its full reveal and release. One thing we know is that it'll come with the implementation of PlayStation VR2 compatibility.
If you're more interested in games, Gran Turismo 7 is currently available for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, and during today's conference, we learned that it will be playable for PlayStation VR2 when it launches in February via a free upgrade.
Gran Turismo 7 is currently available for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. Polyphony Digital has been quite consistent with keeping it updated after its release in early 2022 by releasing an update with new cars nearly every month, albeit we did not get one in January 2023.
If you're interested in the franchise in general, a movie is coming simply titled Gran Turismo and focusing on the story of one of the winners of the GT Academy competition, starring Archie Madekwe, Orlando Bloom, David Harbour, Darren Barnet, Geri Halliwell Horner, and Djimon Hounsou.
