The space MMO EVE Online has been continuously expanding its universe and now it expands its fundamentals. A new update to the game will be introducing the AIR Career Program to the system. Due to the game's complexity, this program is serving to aid new players in understanding the core mechanics of the game. It will also be introducing updated gameplay and aesthetics.

The EVE Online Career Program

One of the oldest functioning MMOs, EVE Online first appeared in 2003. Developed by CCP, it remains exclusive to PC for its online gameplay. Despite, or perhaps because of, how long it has lasted, it can also be a very intimidating game to new players due to how much it presents. An important aspect is the career system which determines a player's growth and that's why the Career Program is being introduced. It's made specifically with newcomers in mind to provide information on all four career paths as well as provide guidance. This will help them get settled much sooner in the game's world of New Eden as they learn the basics of gameplay and piloting.

Along with the Career Program, a number of other EVE Online updates are being applied. This includes a heavy graphics change to help the game transition to the modern era. They will affect the textures, nebulae, clouds, and more across all of New Eden. Then there are the gameplay changes coming to the program-connected Career Agent missions. Due to the graphic update, all the environments and settings will be greatly improved. There will also be updates coming to the performance of the Enforcer, Industrialist, and Explorer classes. Lastly, there will be notable UI changes to make screen navigation more condensed and streamlined.

The EVE Online team will be celebrating 20 years of activity next year and the devs are still working to reach out to new players. The AIR Career Program is a major attempt to improve its accessibility from now on.
