Resident Evil Village Lady Dimitrescu Boss Battle Guide

In Resident Evil Village, Lady Dimitrescu is a foreboding (yet strangely alluring) figure as you explore Castle Dimitrescu. Seeming to appear out of nowhere and never stop pursuing you, she’s a force to be reckoned with, and reckon with her you do once you find the four masks hidden throughout Castle Dimitrescu and finally make your escape. As you approach the Lady Dimitrescu boss battle when you leave the castle, you’ll want to make sure you have plenty of ammo and any healing items that may be available. Don’t forget to check your crafting options to see what materials are in your inventory. For this encounter, we recommend stocking up on shotgun and sniper rifle ammo, but don’t count out the effectiveness of an upgraded pistol if your options are limited.

Resident Evil Village Lady Dimitrescu Boss Battle

When the Lady Dimitrescu boss battle begins, she will morph into a grotesque winged creature who will fly around you and attack with claws and teeth. Her movements can be erratic, so take out your sniper rifle and wait for a clean shot at her torso atop the beast. This is challenging with her flying around combined with the natural sway of the rifle, but each shot you land will deal out a great deal of damage. If you don’t have sniper rifle ammo or you wish to conserve it for later in the battle, your shotgun will work just fine here, too.

Once you deal enough damage to Lady Dimitrescu in the boss battle, she’ll fly around the tower at a distance before swooping in to attack you more. Follow her as she flies and she’ll eventually be stationary for a moment. Take this opportunity to land more sniper rifle shots or blast her with your pistol. At this range, the shotgun won’t be very effective. Once enough damage is dealt, she’ll crash into the center tower, taking down the wall and giving you a chance to momentarily escape up the stairs. At the top of these stairs, you’ll see two vases that hold shotgun and handgun ammo. Collect these items and reload your guns for the next stage of the fight.

Lady Dimitrescu will follow you, and the fight will be similar to what you’ve already done. Unload on her using your shotgun or sniper rifle while doing your best to keep your distance. She can lunge at you with those sharp teeth, so be careful to avoid her attacks. Keep up a volley of gunfire at her torso and before long you’ll have the Lady Dimitrescu boss battle completed.

Collect the Crystal Dimitrescu & Dirty Flask 

When you finally defeat Lady Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Village, she’ll turn to crystal like her daughters that you defeated before her. Collect the Crystal Dimitrescu, which can be sold to the Duke for 25,000 Lei, then collect the Dirty Flask item before leaving the tower. Congratulations, you’ve defeated the first big Resident Evil Village boss battle!
